The Great Falls Citizen Association is sponsoring a town hall meeting on senior issues on December 1,2018 from 10am to noon. The program will be focusing on retirement issues being faced by senior citizens and will be held at the Christ the King Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 10550 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls.
The program will include Mr. Bill Canis, President of GFCA and Dranesville Supervisor John Foust discussing Fairfax County’s senior’s programs.
Remarks/presentations followed by panel discussion:
  • Carol Blackwell, Great Falls Senior Center
  • Carol Edelstein, Shepherd’s Center of Great Falls
  • Toni Reinhart, Dementia Friendly America
  • Grace Lynch, Fairfax County Division of Adult & Aging Services
  • Karen McPhail, Eldementals
  • Stan Corey, a retired financial planner fiduciary and author of a new book on navigating the different retirement stages from transition to exit, “When Work Becomes Optional”.
GFCA members and the general public are all welcome.  Please encourage family and friends to join you to attend this informational program on issues that will eventually affect all of us.
